Odds Conversion Formulas
American to Decimal
- Positive American: Decimal = (American / 100) + 1
- Negative American: Decimal = (100 / |American|) + 1
Example: +150 → (150 / 100) + 1 = 2.50 decimal
Example: -150 → (100 / 150) + 1 = 1.67 decimal
Decimal to American
- Decimal ≥ 2.00: American = (Decimal - 1) × 100
- Decimal < 2.00: American = -100 / (Decimal - 1)
Example: 2.50 → (2.50 - 1) × 100 = +150
Example: 1.67 → -100 / (1.67 - 1) = -149
Fractional to Decimal
Decimal = (Numerator / Denominator) + 1
Example: 3/2 → (3 / 2) + 1 = 2.50 decimal
